Julie has been with Business Travel Direct since 1994, initially as a consultant, and then as an employee. She has a wealth of experience in all areas of travel management and represents Business Travel Direct on many industry boards. Her strategic vision and tenacity to remain at the cutting-edge of the industry for the benefit of our clients has enabled Business Travel Direct to realise impressive global partnerships, implement leading technology and helped shape the future of business travel.

Andrew Perolls

Executive Director

Andrew has a background of senior leadership roles in Travel and Event Management spanning 18 years. With a track record in business transformation Andrew specialises in helping companies unlock their potential through identifying and implementing strategic growth plans, both in the UK and internationally. Andrew believes that business success comes from a true partnership approach with clients combined with constant innovation to keep one step ahead.

John Burroughes

Director of Industry Relations & Corporate Affairs

John’s career has taken him from theatre to retail and, more recently, to business travel, however the one common denominator is the managerial qualities he brings to each company. John bought Uniglobe Preferred Travel over 20 years ago and has seen the company grow substantially thanks to his forward-thinking nature and impressive knowledge of the industry, which he brings to Business Travel Direct.

Vanessa Bailey

Director of Client Partnerships

Vanessa has over 25 years of experience within the travel industry, of which more than 10 years have been spent dealing with a range of clients at Business Travel Direct. Vanessa manages a portfolio of organisations and is constantly striving to help them make the most of their travel solution and budget, regularly arranging technology demonstrations and organising travel road shows for her clients.

Andrew Burroughes

Products and Implementations Director

Having worked in the travel industry for over 20 years, Andrew has a wealth of experience in all aspects of the business, covering operations, sales, finance, travel technology and implementations. Andrew’s unique approach when delivering new products and services along with his wider understanding of the industry ensures he and his team are focused on creating tailored travel solutions for our clients, and delivering award winning service.

Andy Pay

Operations Director

Andy holds over 34 years of experience within the travel industry. He is responsible for overseeing our client services teams in our offices, ensuring that our clients receive the very best customer service possible.

Mark Bevan

Head of Strategic Relationships

Mark has worked in the travel industry for over 30 years. He is a strategic and innovative executive who has a broad range of experience in all aspects of the business, but enjoys covering commercial and sales roles in senior positions. Mark has a real passion for excellent service and always strives to put customers at the forefront of his mind, ensuring the right travel solutions for our clients.

Mandy Warwick

Senior Director Groups and Events

Mandy joined Business Travel Direct in 2018, leading the Groups and Events division. She began her career in meetings and events in 2006 and has since held senior positions managing groups, meetings and events departments within the Travel Industry. Mandy has managed a vast array of event types of many different sizes, the largest being for 6000 delegates. Her experience and unwavering passion for the industry makes her an invaluable asset to Business Travel Direct.

John Pawson

Marketing Director

John joined us in 2018 as Marketing Director, and is responsible for the Brand and Marketing activity for Business Travel Directs. John brings with him over ten years of marketing experience, five of which have been spent working with a range of companies operating in the Business Travel industry. With a background in both client-side and agency settings, his diverse expertise will help shape the future of the Business Travel Direct brand.
