Over the course of 40 years, Peter has earned a reputation as a forward thinking entrepreneur. His vision has enabled his companies to lead rather than follow trends and pioneer new ways of working with clients.
Julie Oliver
Managing Director
Business Travel Direct
Julie has been with Business Travel Direct since 1994, initially as a consultant, and then as an employee. Julie has a wealth of experience in all areas of travel management and represents Business Travel Direct on many industry boards.
Julie adores reading, especially history books about the Tudors.
Helen Sawyer
Services Director
Helen is our longest serving employee and is currently responsible for the many relationships we hold with vendors and suppliers. Helen helped to develop Business Travel Direct from the back office of a high street branch to the strong, multi-million pound business it is today. It's often a case of 'If in doubt, ask Helen'. Helen enjoys a good game of golf, though considers herself a bit of a fair weather golfer.
Vanessa Beesley
Account Director
Vanessa is Director of Account Management and brings with her over 25 years Travel experience of which 10 years have been spent dealing with a range of clients at Business Travel Direct. Vanessa manages a small portfolio of organisations and is constantly striving to help them make the most of their travel budgets and achieve their goals. Vanessa loves the TV programme 'Grand Designs' and has spent the last few years totally re-building her house.
Kelly Luney
Operations Director
Kelly is our Operations Director and brings with her over 20 years experience in the travel industry. Having previously worked for Travelocity Business and Sabre Travel Network. Kelly has a commanding knowledge of travel industry technology and booking tools. Kelly currently has her hands full outside of work as well with her new little addition to the family.

Sally has been in the travel industry for over 30 years, and loves working in the industry as much today as since the day she started. Sally enjoys the ever changing world of travel and is passionate about her role and responsibilities and all the new challenges they bring. In her spare time Sally likes to spend time with her family, walking her dog and bird watching.

Marketing Manager
Leon has recently joined the team at Business Travel Direct and has a wealth of travel marketing experience behind him. A keen communicator to businesses and partners, Leon really believes Business Travel Direct has something unique to shout about. Leon has travelled to all corners of the globe having recently returned back to the UK following a worldwide trip including a marketing contract for Honda New Zealand!

Team Manager
Marianne joined Business Travel Direct in 2003 and manages one of our key reservation teams whilst also overseeing our rail desk. Marianne has built a solid relationship with many of our key clients as well as many of our smaller organisations, offering them her friendly and experienced service. In her spare time Marianne can be found climbing rocks and scaling mountains!

Junior Business Travel Consultant
Louise is one of our business travel rail consultants with her primary role being to fulfil clients UK rail travel requests and ensuring that travel policies and procedures are followed. To do this Louise will build a rapport with all clients, ensuring monthly targets are met and also to ensure all travel bookings are completed and issued within an efficient timescale. During Louise's time here she has completed an Advanced Apprenticeship in Customer Service.

Nicola has been with the Ickenham Travel Group since 1993, working with Business Travel Direct since July 2006. As a Senior Business Travel Consultant, Nicola looks after the travel arrangements of some of our most well known clients. Nicola likes to spend time with her husband and 4 year old daughter and she loves watching her beloved Spurs play.

Emma joined the Ickenham Travel Group in 1996 and currently works as a Senior Business Travel Consultant for Business Travel Direct. Emma has built a great rapport with some of our larger clients offering her vast travel knowledge and expertise to save our clients money! Outside of work Emma spends her time juggling a family, socialising with friends and keeping fit at the gym.

Richard joined Business Travel Direct in February 2002 and is our management reporting guru. With his knowledge of provision and analysis of customer data, Richard is able to tailor manage information and how it is reported for our clients. Richard is an avid cricket fan and pub-quizzer and has 'reported' on a singular lack of success in both endeavours.

Zoe Pinn joined Ickenham Travel Group plc in May 1997 as a retail travel consultant and was soon promoted into the business travel division. Now working as a Senior Travel Consultant handling various accounts, Zoe is one of our most experienced consultants at Business Travel Direct.
