Strategic Partnerships in Global Travel – A Case Study

A Business Travel Direct client with a large travel programme faced a number of challenges with their previous partner.

With over 1700 employees travelling to a number of regions worldwide, they found that they had little consistency, received poor customer service from operational teams and lacked any technological advancements that enhanced the traveller experience. With high spend for their U.K. programme, they also had no transparency in their travel budget, coupled with low levels of compliance.

Gaining insight into a high-volume travel programme of this size required collaboration, a strategic partnership with ATG and experienced, personal staff to run their operations.

Online adoption has increased by 67% since implementing the new booking platform and the results of the traveler satisfaction survey show that 98% of travelers feel like they now receive ‘excellent customer service’ from us.
