FOCUS ON… THE LUFTHANSA GROUP
The Lufthansa Group is a global aviation company, comprising of Lufthansa, Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and SWISS International Airlines, and currently has the largest network in the world. With joint facilities and harmonious schedules, they create a seamless travel experience.
The Lufthansa Group
Lufthansa won the title of Best Airline in Europe in the 2017 Skytrax World Airline Awards, and also named the Best Airline in Western Europe. But travel is always about more than just awards and flying from A to B. Lufthansa makes every effort to ensure that travel is enjoyable and enriching from the very first moment.
First Class – The tailored experience to each passenger. Whether you want to sleep, relax or work above the clouds, you can do so in the greatest comfort.
Business Class – Relax in the Lufthansa Business Lounge before departing, and put your feet up on the flight as the new seats transform into two-metre fully-flat beds.
Premium Economy – 50% extra space compared to economy.
Economy Class – Experience a friendly service and a variety of entertainment options to keep all generations happy.
Focus on Premium Economy
The Premium Economy Class takes off, offering considerably more space and comfort as well as additional extras. And the best part – its prices are closer aligned to Economy than Business Class.
Premium Economy offers 50% more space than Economy, as well as a centre console between each seat for more privacy. You can also recline further back whilst travelling for that little bit of extra comfort.
Additionally, Premium Economy also offers each passenger the option of checking two bags in weighing up to 23kg, so you don’t have to choose between essentials.
SWISS International Air Lines: Fly in Style
Switzerland is best known for its quality and punctuality; SWISS abides by these values. SWISS offers up to 180 weekly flights from London City, Heathrow, Manchester, Birmingham and Dublin to either Zurich or Geneva. From mid-2016 and over the course of two years, SWISS will be replacing its Avro fleet with the first of the new C Series generation by Bombardier. These are being introduced as the company continually grows, and is setting new standards in economy and sustainability.
Brussels Airlines: Experience Africa
Brussels Airlines has a strong presence, excellent connections to 19 African destinations and over 80 years’ experience operating to the continent. Guests can relax in style by visiting the dedicated ‘Africa Zone’ at Brussels Airport before departure. They operate nearly 100 weekly flights to Brussels from Heathrow, Birmingham, Bristol, Manchester and Edinburgh. Additionally, bmi regional also provide feeder flights from East Midlands and Newcastle to ensure smooth and easy connections to Europe, Africa, New York, Washington, Toronto and most recently, Mumbai.
Austrian Airlines’ Business Class System
Austrian Airlines has a global route network of approximately 130 destinations from its hub in Vienna. Austrian Airlines operates services from London Heathrow and Manchester to Vienna connecting with a wide range of Eastern European destinations, plus medium/long haul destinations including Tehran, Tel Aviv and Beijing. Short haul Business Class: choice of menus and hot/cold beverages and selected wines, newspapers and magazines available. Long haul Business Class: new seats including fully-flat beds, integrated massage function and on-demand entertainment system. Premium Economy: will be phased into the long haul fleet starting at the end of 2017.
