Welcome aboard the New TAP
As Europe’s most frequent flyer from the UK to Portugal, TAP operates up to 82 direct weekly flights from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester to Lisbon and Porto.
With its main hub in Lisbon, TAP is also a key European gateway to Brazil, Africa, North and South America and operates an average of 2500 weekly flights to 86 destinations across 35 countries.
New Intercontinental Branded Fares
From the new Discount brand for those who prefer travelling with carry-on baggage only to the Top Executive Brand for those demanding maximum exclusivity and flexibility with three pieces of baggage up to 32kg each included, TAP passengers now have the opportunity to choose between four different Economy Class and two Business Class fare options in each booking class for continental and intercontinental flights (travelling from 1st September).
Cabin Retrofit: More space, comfort and innovation
TAP fleet is now being completely retrofitted.
Short and medium-haul aircraft (A319, A320 and A321) offer a new interior styling with more modern and ergonomic options; more legroom, and a wider pitch up to 33″, new reclining seats and a tablet holder (only for executive class) and USB sockets.
Long-haul A330s aircraft is also being retrofitted offering new full-flat seats with a new entertainment system in Executive Class, whilst Economy Class passengers can find a totally renewed cabin with greater reclining chairs and legroom.
TAP will be the first airline to launch the new A330neo when delivered by Airbus around the end of 2017, and also the first to fly the Airspace cabin (new cabin design, latest technology and IFE systems). A new flying experience based on; comfort, ambiance, services and design.
The increased capacity out of the UK
TAP is increasing its capacity from Manchester to Lisbon with a second daily flight this Summer.
From 29th October, TAP will start to fly from London City Airport to Lisbon with two daily flights Monday and Friday and one daily on weekends.
The airline currently operates 69 weekly flights to Lisbon from London Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester and 13 weekly flights to Porto from Gatwick. TAP customers can also take advantage of fast and convenient connections to Brazil, Africa, USA and Canada via Lisbon.
Strengthening the short and long-haul network
This Summer, TAP is extending its long-haul network to Abidjan and Lome in Africa with five and four weekly flights respectively, and Toronto in Canada with five weekly flights. The Airline us also adding five new destinations to its European network; Stuttgart, Las Palmas, Alicante, Budapest and Bucharest.
