British Airways to Board Passengers by Group
From 12th December, British Airways will be boarding passengers in groups, depending on the type of ticket they have bought, for all short and long haul flights.
Each boarding pass will be numbered, and each group will be called individually to board the plane. BA have asked travellers to sit in the respective departure lounge and wait for your group to be called, rather than waiting around the boarding gate.
For more information on the new grouping system, please follow this link.
Rail Cards Extended for 26-30s
The Chancellor has announced in his latest budget that discounted rail cards will be extended for 26 to 30 year olds, meaning Millennials could save up to 1/3 on rail tickets.
However, these cheaper fares will only be available for off-peak journeys, so regular travellers may not benefit from the latest rail scheme.
The so called Millennials’ Card will be introduced in the spring and will cost £30 to buy from the Government. Take a look at this BBC link to find out more.

Concur Fusion was a huge success!
Last month, our Concur specialists exhibited at the Fusion Exchange event at The O2 in London, and it was a rousing success, with over 500 attendees from some of the largest companies turning up.
Business Travel Direct’s theme won the Best Stand award for the second year running and many people (both exhibitors and delegates) loved the rollercoaster and virtual reality idea. Roll on Fusion 2018!
