Easter Opening Hours
With Easter this weekend, our holiday opening hours are as follows:
Thursday 13th April – normal opening hours
Friday 14th – Monday 17th April – Closed
Tuesday 18th April – normal opening hours
*Outside of these hours, our emergency 24/7 telephone service will operate as normal.
Flybe introduce new domestic and international routes
The regional airline company, Flybe, have commenced services from Aberdeen and Edinburgh to Heathrow Airport.
There are now three daily flights to Aberdeen Monday to Friday as well as a weekend service. Four flights are scheduled every week day to Edinburgh also including five flights in total every Saturday and Sunday.
Flybe have also announced an extended summer service from Cardiff Airport and will be flying to Rome on a twice-weekly basis on Tuesdays and Saturdays until October 28th.
British Airways announce new European Summer routes
British Airways will be launching new European routes from Stansted and London City Airports for the summer season.
Between 6th May and 28th October, BA will fly to Florence from Stansted twice a week on Saturdays and Sundays, whilst there will be one flight per week travelling to Geneva and Nice. Additionally, they will be increasing the number of flights to Ibiza to three a week, and a Sunday flight to Palma.
Meanwhile, BA will be flying to Skiathos from London City Airport three times a week between 26th June and 6th September, as well as improving the frequency of flights to Mykonos from four to five trips per week, from 30th June – 8th September.

Wow Air reveal one-stop service to Chicago
From July 13th, Wow Air will be offering a one-stop service to Chicago via Iceland’s capital, Reykjavik.
There will be four services each week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays departing from Gatwick, Edinburgh and Bristol airports.
This becomes the 10th transatlantic destination by the low-cost airline carrier and gives UK business travellers the option of cheaper flights to another US city.
Aerotel opens doors to new hotel at Singapore Airport
Airport lounge specialists, the Plaza Premium Group, have teamed up with Aerotel to open their latest airport transit hotel at Singapore’s Changi Airport.
Based in Terminal One, it gives passengers the option to relax in a luxurious setting without having to leave the airport or clear customs and immigration again. Each of the 70 rooms can be booked in 6 hour slots with 24-hour check-in meaning that travellers with layovers can catch up on sleep or work in a calmer environment.
Heathrow and Hyderabad will also be opening their doors later on this year, bringing the total up to 5, with Aerotels at Abu Dhabi and Rio de Janiero already available.
Qatar Airways offer laptop loans on US flights
Qatar Airways have reacted to the recent ban of electronic devices by offering passengers a laptop loan service on all US flights.
These laptops are free of charge to all customers flying to America with the airline and can be collected from the gate before boarding. This new service will be beneficial to frequent business travellers commuting to the US and give them the option of staying connected using the wi-fi provided on board.
